1. Introduction

Welcome to BusyBeeWork. By accessing or using our website, services, features, job listings, provider profiles or any related platform tools, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.

BusyBeeWork is a local services marketplace designed to connect people who need help with local independent providers who offer practical services. The platform currently operates in the Netherlands and Germany.

If you do not agree with these Terms & Conditions, you should not use BusyBeeWork.

2. Definitions

In these Terms & Conditions, the following meanings apply:

• “BusyBeeWork”, “we”, “our” or “us” means the operator of the BusyBeeWork platform.
• “Platform” means the website busybeework.com and any related digital services operated by BusyBeeWork.
• “BeeClient” means a user who posts a job, requests a service or searches for a provider.
• “BeeProvider” means a user who offers services, applies for jobs or creates a provider profile.
• “BeeJob” means a task, project or service request posted on the platform.
• “User” means any person who accesses, browses, registers or uses BusyBeeWork.
• “Service” means a job, task or practical service arranged between a BeeClient and a BeeProvider.

3. Our Role as a Platform

BusyBeeWork acts as an online marketplace that helps BeeClients and BeeProviders connect. We may provide tools for posting jobs, browsing providers, viewing listings, contacting users and managing certain platform interactions.

Unless expressly agreed in writing, BusyBeeWork is not a party to the contract formed between a BeeClient and a BeeProvider. The agreement for the actual service is made directly between the users involved.

BusyBeeWork does not guarantee that a BeeClient will receive proposals, that a BeeProvider will be selected, or that any service will be completed to a specific standard unless such guarantee is expressly offered by BusyBeeWork in writing.

4. User Accounts

Certain features of BusyBeeWork may require account registration. When creating an account, you agree to provide accurate, current and complete information.

You are responsible for:

• keeping your login details secure;
• all activity that takes place under your account;
• updating your information when it changes;
• not allowing another person to use your account without permission.

We may suspend or remove accounts that contain false information, misuse the platform, violate these Terms or create risk for other users.

5. BeeClient Terms

BeeClients may use BusyBeeWork to post BeeJobs, search for providers and contact users who may be able to complete a task.

As a BeeClient, you agree to:

• provide clear, honest and accurate job details;
• describe the location, scope, timing and expected budget of the job as accurately as possible;
• not post illegal, unsafe, misleading or abusive requests;
• communicate respectfully with providers;
• honour any agreement you make with a selected provider.

BusyBeeWork may remove BeeJobs that appear suspicious, unsafe, misleading, discriminatory, unlawful or unsuitable for the platform.

6. BeeProvider Terms

BeeProviders may create profiles, list services, apply for BeeJobs or communicate with BeeClients through the platform.

As a BeeProvider, you agree to:

• provide accurate information about your identity, services, experience, prices and availability;
• only offer services you are legally and practically able to perform;
• hold any licences, registrations, insurance or qualifications required for your services where applicable;
• communicate honestly and professionally with BeeClients;
• perform agreed work with reasonable care and skill;
• not misrepresent your skills, reviews, availability or location.

BusyBeeWork may review, hide, suspend or remove provider profiles that breach these Terms, contain misleading information or create risk for users.

7. BeeJobs, Listings and User Content

Users may post or submit content such as job descriptions, service listings, profile information, messages, images, reviews or other materials.

By submitting content to BusyBeeWork, you confirm that you have the right to share it and that it does not violate any law, third-party right, privacy right or intellectual property right.

Users must not post content that is:

• false, misleading or fraudulent;
• abusive, threatening, discriminatory or hateful;
• sexually explicit or inappropriate for a local services platform;
• illegal or encouraging illegal activity;
• designed to spam, scam or manipulate other users;
• infringing copyright, trademarks or other rights.

BusyBeeWork may edit, reject, remove or restrict content where we reasonably believe it breaches these Terms or harms the platform.

8. Payments, Fees and Pricing

Prices, budgets and fees displayed on BusyBeeWork may be provided by BeeClients, BeeProviders or the platform. Users are responsible for checking and agreeing the final price, scope and payment method before work begins.

Where BusyBeeWork offers paid features, subscriptions, posting fees, promotion options or other paid services, the applicable price and payment terms will be shown before purchase.

Unless otherwise stated, payments made for platform features may be non-refundable once the service has started, the listing has been published, or the paid feature has been activated.

If payments are made directly between a BeeClient and a BeeProvider outside BusyBeeWork, those users are responsible for the payment arrangement, invoices, taxes, refunds and any related dispute.

9. User Conduct and Prohibited Use

You agree to use BusyBeeWork lawfully, respectfully and only for its intended purpose.

You must not:

• use the platform for fraud, scams or deceptive activity;
• harass, abuse, threaten or discriminate against other users;
• post false jobs, fake profiles, fake reviews or misleading information;
• attempt to bypass platform systems, security or verification processes;
• upload viruses, malicious code or harmful files;
• scrape, copy or harvest platform data without permission;
• use BusyBeeWork to promote illegal or unsafe services.

We reserve the right to investigate suspicious activity and take appropriate action, including content removal, account suspension or reporting to relevant authorities where necessary.

10. Disputes Between Users

BusyBeeWork encourages BeeClients and BeeProviders to communicate clearly and resolve disagreements fairly.

Because the service agreement is usually made directly between the BeeClient and BeeProvider, users are responsible for resolving disputes about quality, timing, payment, cancellation, damage, behaviour or any other service-related issue.

BusyBeeWork may, at its discretion, review reports, restrict accounts or provide limited support, but we are not required to mediate, decide or resolve disputes between users unless required by law or agreed in writing.

11. Liability and Disclaimers

BusyBeeWork aims to keep the platform reliable and useful, but we do not guarantee that the platform will always be available, error-free, uninterrupted or free from technical issues.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, BusyBeeWork is not responsible for:

• the actions, omissions, quality of work or behaviour of users;
• losses caused by inaccurate user content or job descriptions;
• damage, injury, delay or dissatisfaction arising from services arranged between users;
• payments or agreements made outside the platform;
• loss of data, business, profit, opportunity or goodwill;
• temporary platform downtime or technical failures.

Nothing in these Terms limits any liability that cannot legally be excluded.

12. Verification, Reviews and Trust Features

BusyBeeWork may provide trust-related features such as reviews, ratings, badges, profile checks or verification labels. These features are intended to help users make informed decisions but should not be treated as a full guarantee.

Users remain responsible for checking whether a provider is suitable for a job, including experience, qualifications, insurance, availability and price.

Reviews must be honest, relevant and based on real experiences. We may remove reviews that are fake, abusive, manipulated, defamatory or in breach of these Terms.

13. Cancellations and Refunds

Cancellation terms for a specific job should be agreed directly between the BeeClient and BeeProvider before the work begins.

If BusyBeeWork charges platform fees, listing fees, subscriptions or promotional fees, refund eligibility will depend on the nature of the purchased service and whether it has already been activated, used or delivered.

Where required by applicable consumer law, statutory rights will remain unaffected.

14. Privacy and Personal Data

BusyBeeWork processes personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy. By using the platform, you agree that we may collect and use personal information necessary to operate the website, provide accounts, process requests, support users and improve the platform.

Users must not misuse personal data obtained through BusyBeeWork. Contact details, addresses, messages and job information must only be used for legitimate platform-related purposes.

15. Intellectual Property

The BusyBeeWork name, brand, website design, platform structure, text, graphics, icons, logos and other materials are owned by or licensed to BusyBeeWork, unless otherwise stated.

Users may not copy, reproduce, sell, modify, distribute or exploit BusyBeeWork materials without prior written permission.

Users retain ownership of content they submit, but grant BusyBeeWork a limited permission to use, display, store and process that content for the purpose of operating and promoting the platform.

16. Suspension and Termination

We may suspend, restrict or terminate access to BusyBeeWork if we believe a user has breached these Terms, created risk for other users, misused the platform or acted unlawfully.

Users may stop using BusyBeeWork at any time. If you wish to request account deletion or data removal, please contact us using the details below.

17. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are intended to apply to the operation of BusyBeeWork as a platform active in the Netherlands and Germany.

Any disputes relating to these Terms, the platform or BusyBeeWork services will be handled according to the applicable laws and competent courts relevant to the business location and the nature of the dispute, unless mandatory consumer protection laws provide otherwise.

18. Changes to These Terms

BusyBeeWork may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time to reflect changes in the platform, legal requirements, business operations or user features.

The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised “Last updated” date. Continued use of BusyBeeWork after changes are published means you accept the updated Terms.
